PURPOSE: To attain a sufficient soundproof effect by easily covering the whole reduction gear without forming the reduction gear box of the reduction gear into a complex shape in response to component parts such as pipes arranged around the reduction gear. CONSTITUTION: A soundproof cover 2 is constituted of multiple ribs 3 provided with tips at the same height as that of the reduction gear box 1b of a reduction gear 1 and block pieces provided at the tips of the ribs 3 to cover the whole face of the reduction gear 1.
