<p>PURPOSE: To form a protection circuit for preventing dielectric breakdown and characteristic change in a TFT of a pixel part due to static electricity, etc., with a simple structure by connecting gate wiring with data wiring through a protection element connecting in parallel two protection TFTs. CONSTITUTION: The protection TFTs 51, 52 constituting the protection element 50C connecting the gate wiring 4 with the data wiring 5 in the wiring group end are arranged between terminal parts 4a, 5a sides of the gate wiring 4 and the data wiring 5. The protection element 50C connects electrically the gate electrodes of two protection TFTs 51, 52 to the source electrodes of respective protection TFTs, and it connects the source electrode of one side protection TFT 51 and the drain electrode of the other side protection TFT 52 to one side wiring between the gate wiring 4 and the data wiring 5, and it connects the drain electrode of one side protection TFT 51 and the source electrode of the other side protection TFT 52 to the other side wiring.</p> |
