<p>PURPOSE: To effectively prevent the galloping of an overhead power-transmission line while the increases of the size of a supporting tower and power transmission loss are suppressed. CONSTITUTION: In a method for preventing galloping of overhead power- transmission line in which the ice or snow adhering to an overhead power- transmission line between supporting towers installed at an A-B span is melted by mounting heat generating members for melting snow on the power- transmission line and causing the heat generating members to generate heat, the heat generating members are partially mounted on partial sections E1, E2, E3, E4, and E5 of the power-transmission line in the longitudinal direction so that the state of the ice or snow adhering to an overhead power-transmission line is made to be discontinuous in the longitudinal direction.</p> |
