The lower part of the base is extended away from the front of the sign, forming a container (4) which can be filled with sufficient ballast to ensure that the sign is stable. The ballast may consist of sand, stones or earth. There are recesses (5) which allow the signs to be handled easily. The sign is shaped so that several identical panels can be placed side by side. The road sign is made of moulded or injected plastic, such as polystyrene. |
