PURPOSE: To provide a burner capable of reducing weight and size by communicating a preheat air intake part of a high temperature combustion section which comprises a rear part refractory fiber member having a fuel nozzle charging part, a central refractory fiber member having a preheat air intake part and a combustion part and a front part refractory fiber member having a combustion part with a heat storage chamber. CONSTITUTION: A fuel nozzle charging part 1 is formed in a rear part refractory fiber member A. A preheat air intake part 2 and a combustion part 3 are laterally formed in the lower part of a central part refractory fiber member B. The combustion part 3 is formed in the central part of a front part refractory fiber member C. A high temperature combustion part 10 of a regenerative burner comprises the rear part refractory fiber member A, the central part refractory fiber member B and the front part refractory fiber member C and they are housed in a casing 9. The combustion air preheated by way of a heat storage chamber enters the combustion part 3 by way of the air intake parts 2 and 2' and is mixed with the fuel ejected from a fuel nozzle 4 where the high temperature combustion gas which burns at the combustion part 3 is ejected into a furnace from a fuel gas ejection part 5. |
