PURPOSE: To reduce sliding contact resistance between a piston and a cylinder bore. CONSTITUTION: Plural grooves 19-2 are formed on a circumferential surface of a single head piston 19. The grooves 19-2 are set between an upper pear 19-3 and a lower part 19-4 on a circumferential surface of the upper half circumference of the single head piston 19 on the opposite side of the rotaty center axis 8-0 of a swash plate 8 on the center axis 19-0 of the single head piston 19. The respective grooves 19-2 are formed so as to run in the stroke direction of the single head piston 19. When the single head piston 19 exists in a lower dead center position, a part of the grooves 19-2 extend to the crank chamber 2-1 side from a cylinder bore 1-1.
