PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To complicatedly fuse color or opaque data. SOLUTION: In these method and device for performing fusion from one optional edge 20 to a second optional edge 21 in computer graphic picture preparation, the colors of the respective edges 20 and 21 are established first. Then, a parameter equation is formed for the colors of respective picture elements in an area whose boundary is stipulated by the edges 20 and 21 and the colors of the respective picture elements are taken out by solving the parameter arithmetic formula. Or, after establishing the colors of the respective edges 20 and 21, the respective edges 20 and 21 are vectorized into corresponding line segments. Then, the line segments are paired and combined and a polygon 26 provided with the colors defined at respective vertexes is formed. Then, the colors for the respective picture elements of the polygon 26 are established from the colors defined at the vertexes of the polygon. In such a manner, for the edges 20 to 21, pictures for which the colors and opacity are fused are formed. |
