PURPOSE: To provide desired damping characteristic in which loss of working force is little by simple constitution. CONSTITUTION: A main liquid chamber 44 to which vibration from the engine side is input and a liquid sub-chamber 56 in which volume change is allowed by a diaphragm 52 are partitioned off with a partition member 53, and the inner circumference of a communicating hole has a minute gap S against the outer circumference of a movable member 58. When the movable member 58 is vibrated by a coil 69 of a voice coil, incompressible fluid in the main liquid chamber 44 and the liquid sub-chamber 56 is prevented from flowing through the gap S due to its own viscous action, and the communicating hole is dynamically considered to be almost closed with the movable member 58. Hereby because a special member for holding liquidtightness is unnecessary, loss of working force is little in the voice coil as an actuator, the damping characteristic of the engine mount can be variably controlled, and further by setting the ratio the sectional area A1 of the movable member 58 to the sectional area A2 of the main liquid chamber 44 to be in the range of 0.05-0.15, electric power saving is attained. |
