SOCKET FOR HOLDING BACKLIGHT LAMP

A socket for fixing a backlight lamp is provided to improve assembling characteristics and re-work characteristics by allowing an actuator to enter from the side of a housing primarily. A housing(10) includes an internal receiving space(11). A contact terminal(20) maintains a backlight lamp terminal such that the backlight lamp is conductive. An actuator(30) enters from the side of the housing and fixes the backlight lamp terminal together with the contact terminal in the receiving space of the housing. The actuator includes a horizontal guided portion(33) and a vertical guided portion(32). An opening(13) formed at the side of the housing allows the actuator to pass therethrough. A vertical guide unit(14) is formed to extend vertically on an inner surface of the receiving space. A horizontal guide unit(12) is formed to extend into the receiving space from the opening on the inner surface of the receiving space. A horizontal mounting part(15) is formed to extend vertically from an inner end portion of the horizontal guide part.
