摘要 In a method and circuit for control of driving stability in a motor vehicle 1 using a yaw speed (rate) sensor 3 the sensitivity and offset of which are affected by temperature, the sensor signals are automatically recalibrated without the need for a temperature sensor. Driving conditions in which the offset of the yaw speed sensor can be clearly determined are established on the basis of signals of a steering wheel angle sensor 18, wheel speed sensors 9 to 12, or a transverse acceleration sensor 22, and then the offset is determined. At the beginning and end of a given time interval, driving conditions are identified in which the yaw speeds of the motor vehicle 1 can be clearly determined and are different from each other, and then the yaw speeds are calculated from the signals of the sensors mentioned, and the associated signal voltages of the yaw speed sensor 3 are recorded. From the latter and from the calculated yaw speeds, the sensitivity of the yaw speed sensor 3 is calculated. On the basis of the functional dependence of the offset and the sensitivity upon temperature, values of offset and sensitivity are associated with each other in pairs and are stored so that with knowledge of one of these parameters the other can be read out directly in each case. <IMAGE>
