The connector assemblies (10, 110) typically include as their main components a tubular conduit (12, 112) which is susceptible to thermal expansion and contraction, a housing (14, 114) which may also be subject to thermal expansion or contraction, elements (16, 116) for internally sealing the connector assembly (10, 110) and a retainer element (18, 118) which locks the terminal end (24, 124) of the tubular conduit (12, 112) within the housing (14, 114).
