A machine tool with a turntable (14) is specified which has a top part (20) with an assembly plate (18), which top part (20) is pivotably arranged relative to a fixed bottom part (22) and is connected to at least one line (38a, 38b; 40a, 40b) for supplying fluids or electrical or mechanical energy to the top part (20). The lines (38a, 38b; 40a, 40b) are fed from below through the bottom part (22) and can be connected via couplings (34, 36) to the top part (20), from where they are connected to connection modules (16, 17) which are arranged on the assembly plate (18). To position the top part (20) on the bottom part (22), radial serrations are preferably provided so that each pivoting action is initiated by a lifting action and is ended by a lowering action. The coupling modules (30a, 30b or 32a, 32b) are opened or closed preferably at the same time by the lifting or lowering.
