PURPOSE: To provide a vehicular anti-theft system which issues alarms for any abnormal states of a vehicle by driving an alarm means differently depending on whether the vehicle is stolen or moved by a wrecker. CONSTITUTION: This vehicular anti-theft system 1 is provided with a key position detection means 3 for detecting the off position of an ignition key 2, stroke detection means 6, 7 for detecting the amounts of strokes of suspensions 4, 5, vehicle speed sensors 8, 9 for detecting vehicle speed, and an alarm means 10 that issues alarms in a plurality of different states, etc. The system 1 also has a control means 17 which causes operation of the alarm means 10 in a first state if the amounts of strokes are detected to be at a predetermined value or higher with the ignition key 2 in the off position and with the vehicle 13 detected to have been stopped on the basis of the outputs of the vehicle speed sensors 8, 9, and which causes the alarm means 10 to operate in a second state if the amounts of strokes are detected to be at the predetermined value or higher with the vehicle 13 detected to be running on the basis of the outputs of the vehicle speed sensors 8, 9. |
