PURPOSE: To constitute simply and at low-cost a display unit for displaying the reading and exposure operations of the seal shadow pattern of a stamp forming apparatus. CONSTITUTION: The seal shadow pattern reading mechanism 8 of a stamp forming apparatus places a sensor 83 at a carriage 81, and is of the type for reading it while moving it. A display light emitting element 10 is placed on the side of the carriage 81, and so formed as to be visible from the outside of a case. The carriage is moved by the rotation of a screw 85, and when it arrives at the end, it is loosely fed via an annular groove. An ink ribbon 41 is conveyed by a rotary force to be transmitted from a motor 87 via a leadscrew 85. At the time of reading a seal shadow pattern, the element 10 is energized, moved together with the carriage to inform the effect of reading and the residual predetermined time of an operation from the energized state and moved position. |
