<p>PURPOSE: To accelerate at the pulping step the separation from pulp fibers of an ink which is derived from waste offset paper and is difficult to separate, collect the separated ink with a high collecting power at the floatation step, remove the ink efficiently from the system, and obtain a high-quality reclaimed pulp having a high whiteness and contg. little residual ink. CONSTITUTION: The deinking agent contains as the effective component a product of reaction of an adduct of 10-300mol of a 2-4C alkylene oxide and 1mol of a polyhydric alcohol with a glycidyl ether compd. in an equivalent ratio of the glycidyl ether groups of the latter compd. to the alcoholic hydroxyl groups of the adduct of 0.1-1.1.</p> |
