PURPOSE: To make a locking device a push-in type which facilitates and assures unlocking operations, and lower its cost with its components reduced in number, and with assembling hours reduced in the locking device of a housing box. CONSTITUTION: A locking member 11 is equipped with a connecting section 12 capable of being bent and deformed, which is integrally extended out of the wall surface 7 of the locking member assembling section 6 of a lid 3, a main body section 15 having an unlocking push-in operating section 14 integrally formed at the extended end of the connecting section 12, and with a locking section 16 which is integrally projected out of the main body section 15, and detachably engaged with the locking section of a box main body for locking the lid 3 into a closed condition. The connecting section 12 is so constituted as to be bent and deformed based on the push-in operation of the locking member 11 when unlocking is performed with the locking member 11 pushed in one direction in the push-in operating section 14 of the main body section 15. |
