A method for making dryed brown seaweed comprises: (a) boiling raw brown seaweed in the 80-95 deg.C water for 30 sec; (b) cooling the boiled brown seaweed in the 15 deg.C or less sea water and filtering; (c) mixing the filtered brown seaweed and salt (mixing ration is 1:0.8); (d) maintaining the mix. for 24-48 hrs; (e) washing twice the salted brown seaweed in the soln. contg. 10% or less salt; (f) soaking it in the soln. (A salt value of the soln equals that of seawater, A specific gravity of the soln. is 1.020- 1.025) for 48-72 hrs, and centrifuging; (g) drying with 45 deg.C hot air to 25% water content and belt-drying to 7% water content to obtain the final product. The obtd. dryed brown seaweed has a good tast and color. |
