The brake disc consists of at least two opposite flat rings (14A,B) connected by a supporting structure (10) which allows a coolant fluid to pass between the rings' facing surfaces (15A,B) and also enables the disc to be fixed to a rotary component. The rings are in the form of independent elements, and the supporting structure comprises a flat annular body (16) and an axial connecting member. The body has fastenings for positioning and driving the rings, comprising lugs (34A,B) on its opposite faces, engaging with notches (36A,B) in the rings and spaced evenly round their edges. The fastenings are then covered by plates which grip the edges of the rings. The supporting structure also has inner (22) and outer (24) crown rings with orifices (30,32) to provide for circulation of the coolant fluid. |
