The gradient injection module includes an injection block with a specimen splitting chamber, a feed system for the solvent and specimen, a column inlet, a buffer reservoir, electrodes, a resistance capillary tube and a valve. Alternatively, in place of the specimen and splitting compartment, there is a micro injector with a separate splitting chamber. The solvent and specimen are fed in individually, injected without splitting, using capillary separating columns.
