Reception envelope for compact disc

The reception envelope (2) is made from a folded flat sheet of a recyclable material, e.g. rigid cardboard, with a separate insert (3) for supporting the compact disc within the envelope. The compact disc is contacted at 2 or more points around its inner or outer periphery via clamping elements projecting from the insert, which is pref. formed from at least 2 layers with identical openings for the compact disc, into which the clamping elements project.
