Magnetic field sensor for recording magnetic fields

The magnetic field sensor has a loop (2) enclosing an electro-optical transducer (3) a light wave guide (LWL1) for transmission of a first optical signal from the transducer and a generator (7) determining the operating point of the transducer. A further light wave guide (LWL3) supplies power to the generator. A second optical signal is generated by a further transducer (4) introduced into the loop and is transmitted by a second lightwave guide (LWL2) and combined with the first signal. The generator also determines the operating point of the second transducer.
