<p>The proposed device for establishing a tribochemical operating mode in a mechanism lubrication system comprises the following elements: a housing (1), a lid (2) with apertures (3 and 4) through which oil can flow in and out as appropriate; a tribochemical block consisting of two lids (5 and 6) and three coaxial perforated cylindrical shells (7, 8 and 9) of small, medium and large diameters, respectively, and clad with a filtering material (11). An alkaline reagent (10) is provided between the large and medium diameter shells (9 and 8), and iodine is applied to the filtering material (11) of the small diameter shell (7). The apertures (12) of the perforations on the medium and large diameter shells (8 and 9) are so designed as to ensure that the top boundary of the apertures (12) on the medium diameter shell (8) is separated from the shell's top boundary by 0.2-0.35 times the length of the shell, while the bottom boundary of the apertures (12) on the large and medium diameter shells (9 and 8) is separated from the lower boundary of those shells by 0.1-0.13 times the length of those shells.</p> |
