PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the stress and strain in a thermoplastic resin without damaging physical and chemical characteristics thereof by heating the outside membrane layer of the thermoplastic resin by a heat source and subsequently removing the heat source. SOLUTION: An annealing method for removing and lowering the strain and stress in a thermoplastic resin has a stage heating the outside membrane layer with a thickness of about 10 mil or less of the thermoplastic resin by a heat source. After this heating stage, the heat source is removed. As the heat source, a hot plate, a high temp. segment type belt, a high frequency oven, a heat convection oven or an infrared oven is utilized. The thermoplastic resin is pref. polycarbonate and heated to about 100-150 deg.C, pref., about 125-135 deg.C for about 0.5-10 min by the heat source. |
