A vascular catheter usable for intravascular surgical operation, highly localized injection of medicine such as anticancer drugs, and angiography. The main portion of the catheter body is made up of an inner tube formed synthetic-resin and an outer tube formed of a synthetic resin covering the outside surface of the inner tube. The tip of the catheter body is made up of the portion of the outer tube extending from the distal end of the inner tube. The inner tube has one or more grooves, slots or slits formed in the distal end portion.
