PURPOSE: To provide a dielectric porcelain compsn. capable of firing together with a conductor metal such as Ag or Cu, having a high relative dielectric constant and a high Q value in a high frequency region, excellent in temp. characteristics of resonance frequency and capable of ensuring a further reduced size and enhanced performance for a high-frequency electronic circuit board, etc. CONSTITUTION: A boric acid compd. and an alkali metal-contg. compd. are added to a principal compsn. represented by the formula, aBaO.bMgO.cWO3 .dTaO5/2 by >0.2 to 5.0 pts.wt. (expressed in terms of B2 O3 ) and 1.0-9.0 pts.wt. (expressed in terms of carbonate) per 100 pts.wt. of the compsn., respectively. In the formula, (a), (b), (c) and (d) show molar ratio, 0.40<=a<=0.55, 0.10<=b<=0.40, 0<=c<=0.30, 0<=d<=0.40, 0.20<=c+d<=0.40 and a+b+c+d=1. |
