PURPOSE: To provide a surface light source floodlight provided with a mechanism for converting a light source, similar to a conventional line or point, into a surface light source having a broad region in order to obtain soft and uniform light needed to the image lighting in movie and TV studios, etc. CONSTITUTION: This floodlight is arranged with a disklike transparent plate 1, wherein the middle part is bored, having the plane shape of a compact disk type; a light source 4, arranged on the center part of the center part hole of the transparent plate 1; and an annular condensing means 6, being located at the periphery of the light source 4 and for condensing the light of the light source toward the end surface 1a of the middle part hole of the transparent plate. Moreover, a diffusing means 2, being arranged at the back surface 1d of the transparent plate and for irregularly reflecting light, being incident from the end surface 1a of the middle part hole of the transparent plate to be progressed, to emit the light outside from a light-emitting surface with the front surface 1c of the transparent plate as the light-emitting surface, is arranged on the end surface 1b of the outer periphery of the transparent plate. Finally, the light is reflected by a reflecting means 3 for reflecting the progressing light. |
