PURPOSE: To reduce the power consumption and to avoid an incoming call waiting function from being left unswitched by automatically selecting the incoming call waiting function of a PHS to be the set position used for a digital cordless telephone set in a home and an office and used for a portable telephone set outdoor. CONSTITUTION: The system is provided with a public line network 1, private radio base stations 2 installed in each home and each office as the cordless telephone system, and plural public radio base stations 3-7 installed outdoor as the portable telephone system, an analog telephone line 8 connecting to the private radio base stations in each home and each office, a digital telephone line such as ISDN connecting to the public base station outdoor, radio zones 10, 11-15 and a mobile station 16. A specific identification number such as a CS-ID comprising a system call code and an additional ID and a BS-ID comprising an office identification code and an outdoor public telephone system additional ID is given to each of the private radio base stations 2 and of the public radio base stations 3-7, which identified by the identification number. |
