PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of suppressing an increase in capacity of a storage area for storing a performance pattern and attracting player's interest.SOLUTION: Variation time includes the shortest basic variation time, namely the shortest variation time, as variation time when the number of pieces of hold information is the upper limit. A variation pattern includes the shortest basic variation for variably displaying a pattern for the shortest basic variation time. In a specific game state, when a non-ready-to-win variation is determined as a variation pattern in that a determination result corresponds to losing, a specific first informing performance is always executed. In this case, until lapse of variation time after repeated execution of variation display of a pattern based on the shortest basic variation for the number of times corresponding to the determined variation time based on the number of pieces of hold information, variation display of a pattern based on the shortest basic variation is started after tentative stop of a pattern each time when variation display of a pattern based on the shortest basic variation is completed.
