PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a sanitary problem generated in relation to a connection element by guiding a part of a patient support means connectable to a support apparatus on the lower plate part connectable to the support apparatus in a parallel advance regulable manner to make it possible to connect the same to the remaining part of the support means. SOLUTION: A patient support means 16 contains the central part 18 connected to the head part of a support column 10 and other patient support parts 20, 22, 24 capable of rotating each other in relation to a horizontal shaft 26 are connected to both sides thereof and this rotation receives the help of a motor 28 to be performed. A lower plate part 30 is contained in the central part 18 along with an upper plate part 32 and the upper plate part 32 can be regulatred in its position to the lower plate part 30 in parallel to the direction shown by an arrow A. A hermetically closed housing 34 is contained in the lower plate part 30 and pin-shaped connection elements 36 are connected to the opposed side surfaces thereof and received in a complementary pin receiving part 38 provided to the head part of the column.
