PURPOSE: To prevent a supporter used in order to protect a body such as a knee, an ankle, an elbow or the thigh from easily slipping or falling with the movement of the body. CONSTITUTION: This supporter is obtained by attaching rod units 4 in the longitudinal direction of the supporter body 1, knitted into a tubular form and stretchable in the circumferential and longitudinal directions thereof. The rod units can readily be bent, stretched and restored in the longitudinal direction and further has moderate stiffness. The resultant supporter can surely be held in an attached site while keeping the movement of a body such as a joint free and prevented from slipping thereof. |
