PURPOSE: To enable to obtain an organic information from a waveform as a whole by a method wherein resistance wave data in a plurality of channels corresponding to a plurality of electrodes are formed and the individual channel resistance wave data and an average resistance wave data are displayed as the waveform to compare the average resistance wave to a resistance wave of any meridian point. CONSTITUTION: Electrodes are mounted on 28 meridian points and the wrists of a subject to be examined and a step voltage is applied to channels sequentially by a start command of an operating means 18 and current flowing through the electrodes in the respective channels is sampled to generate respective resistance wave data. An average resistance wave data generation means 13 averages the resistance wave data of all the channels to show the result on a display means 17. When a channel corresponding to a specified meridian point is designated by the operating means 18 according to the condition of the subject to be examined, the resistance wave data of the channel is shown on the display means 17 together with the average resistance data and, moreover, a curve data of a deviation value for the channel and the maximum deviation value therefor are displayed if necessary. |
