PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shortcut for operating a home electric appliance.SOLUTION: Proposed is a communication system comprising: a home electric appliance; a communication unit that receives a request; an analysis unit that analyzes the request received by the communication unit on the basis of WebAPI; a control unit that controls, when the analysis unit has analyzed that an identifier of the home electric appliance and a control command defined in the WebAPI are described in the request received by the communication unit, the home electric appliance in accordance with the control command; and a shortcut providing unit that transmits, to a terminal that can transmit the request, shortcut information for executing the request which is displayed on a display part of the terminal and in which the identifier of the home electric appliance and the control command to the home electric appliance are described.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
