An organopolysiloxane polyoxyalkylene copolymer of the formula (I) <IMG> wherein R is H or C1-4 alkyl, x, y and z are at least 1, x+y+z is from 20 to 150, 3y is greater than x, a is 1 to 3, p is at least 1 and q is 0 or an integer, p and q are such that MW of (C2H4O)p(C3H6O)qR is no more than 500 and n is 7 to 23. Also disclosed are water-in-oil emsulsions, especially with polar oils.
