SUBSTANCE: synchronizer has gears loosely mounted on shaft, switch coupling provided with slots and axially movable through slots of hub rigidly connected with shaft, with hub slots profile adjacent to base being positioned at an angle coinciding with coupling slot angle. Hub slots positioned adjacent to one end have height less than that of slots positioned in the middle portion. Slots adjacent to tooth apex have profile angle less than that of coupling slots or they have irregular or composite profile with apex width exceeding that of standard profile in accordance with standard portion of slot adjacent to base.
