<p>A composite film having such applications as a protective film and an antireflection coating for an LCD polarizing film. The composite film has good lubricity for easiness of coiling, mechanical and chemical resistance, and desirable optical properties. One example of the composite film comprises a substrate film and a hard coat layer made of resin curable by ionizing radiation formed on the substrate film, and fine corrugations for providing surface lubricity are formed on the surface of the hard coat layer. Another example of the composite film comprises a substrate film and a hard coat layer formed on the substrate film, wherein the hard coat layer is made of a composition containing resin curable by ionizing radiation, inorganic and/or organic fine particles and an organic silicone.</p> |
