FIELD: cleaning equipment, namely preparation of outer surface of elongated bodies of revolution for coating applying. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has hollow housing with lengthwise openings. In each lengthwise opening of housing rod is mounted. That rod may perform axial motion and it has lengthwise duct opened to center of housing. Scrapers having rear ends embedded to rod are arranged in duct of rod. Working ends of scrapers are passed through radial ducts of housing corresponding to ducts of rods. Apparatus provides new technique of cleaning outer surface of elongated bodies of revolution by high-efficiency removal of harder layers at operation mode with non-significant extension of working end of scrapers upon continuous compensation of their wear and enhanced sensibility relative to relief of surface being treated.
