Power matching device for transmitter end stage

The power matching device allows the transmitter to be used with a number of different antenna devices, each coupled to the output of the transmitter end stage via a plug-in connection (1). The antenna part of the plug-in connection has a coding circuit (7) cooperating with a device (8,4,5) for determining the output power level of the transmitter end stage. Pref. the coding circuit has a resistance network (R) with a selected resistance value and is coupled to the device determining the end stage output power level via an optical and/or mechanical and/or electrical connection.
