PURPOSE: To obtain a cordless telephone set able to consecutively talk with an external line even on a power failure when speaker phone is used at the master set. CONSTITUTION: When a power failure detection means 55 detects a power failure, a switch means 54 selects power supply source of a standby power supply (backup battery 52) from an external power supply, a CPU 11 holds talking with an external line 6 to control a radio transmission means 21 to call a slave set. Through the constitution above, even on the power failure during talking with an external line by using a function of a speaker phone 3 of a master set, the speaker phone talking of the master set is held and the talking is transferred simultaneously to the slave set to continue the talking with an external line. |
