PURPOSE: To improve the yellowing resistance of a base surface by forming an ink receiving layer with a composition which is composed of inorganic pigment, etc., having a specified specific surface area in which cycloamylose is fixed in an area of a specified value of the specific surface area or larger. CONSTITUTION: An ink receiving layer composition is prepared which is composed mainly of an inorganic pigment with a specific surface area of 100m<2> /g or larger measured by BET in which cycloamylose is fixed in an area 20% or larger of the specific surface area and a binder resin. The composition is applied on a support and dried to make an ink-jet recording use sheet. Cycloamylose which can be used preferably is β-cycloamylose which has higher packaging efficiency for a coloring matter in comparison with α-and γ- cycloamylose and can prevent efficiently the coloring matter from fading. The inorganic pigment contained in the ink receiving layer has preferably the specific surface area by BET of 100m<2> /g or larger. |
