<p>PURPOSE: To utilize a buried pipe as it is and implement the work in a short time by providing a reaction plate at the advance start point, screwing rod-like members to a jacking plate, rotating them, excavating the ground with an auger bit, discharging the excavated soil with an auger screw, and adjusting the advancing direction of the auger bit with jacks. CONSTITUTION: A reaction plate 9 supporting reaction and provided with a pipe through hole is provided at the advance start point. A buried pipe 5 is set on the surface side of a tubular member 15, and an auger bit 7 and an auger screw 21 are arranged on a jacking plate 10 to push the tubular member 15. The excavated soil is discharged backward through the space between the auger screw 21 and the tubular member 15. The direction during the advance is controlled by jacks 16. A surface protective sheet 17 stored in a sheet storage chamber 18 is extracted according to the advance, and it is laid between the surface of the buried pipe 5 and the stratum. The buried pipe 5 can be installed under the ground in a short time at a low cost.</p> |
