PURPOSE: To facilitate the installation and maintenance of a road surface installed type road signal apparatus and reduce the fear of failure generation caused by the infiltration of rainwater. CONSTITUTION: A road surface installed type road signal apparatus is constituted of an underground buried outer case 1 of approximately square shape with threaded holes 7 formed at four corner parts of the internal bottom face, and a signal apparatus body 10 enclosable almost without clearance in the outer case 1, in the state of a storage part for a solar battery 12 at the upper end slightly protruding from the upper end opening edge of the outer case 1. The signal apparatus body 10 is provided with a partition plate 15 integrally formed to partition the center plane square part of an assembly base 11 into an upper storage space for the solar battery 12 and a lower storage space for a storage battery 13. A through hole 15 is formed on the outer side edge side of each side of the assembly base 11, and a lens body 16 for radiating the light of a light emission diode 19 in such a way as to crawl on the ground surface is stored in the through hole 15. A cover plate 30 for sealing the lens body 16, the light emission diode 19 and the storage battery 13 in the watertight state is rigidly fixed to the lower face of the assembly base 11, and bolts 40 inserted through four corner parts of the signal apparatus body 10 are screwed into the threaded holes 7. |
