PURPOSE: To provide a communication conference support method and a communication conference terminal used for the support method which can display the type of a conference and also can set the procedure for the attendance or call of the conference in response to its displayed type. CONSTITUTION: The still picture objects 100 to 800 virtually show the users of each terminal on a computer window 1000 shown on a terminal display. These objects 100 to 800 are moved to one of areas 1 to 10 which show the private rooms, conversation rooms and conference rooms respectively. Then the attendance, the call and the place of a conference are designated. At the same time, the type of the conference, the terminal name, and the start/end of the conference are transmitted to other terminals based on the identifier of the moved still picture object and the moving destination coordinates of the identifier. Then the coincidence of display is secured among these terminals, and the terminals attendant on each conference are shown. Furthermore, the procedure is set for the attendance or call of a conference in response to its type. |
