<p>PURPOSE: To detect a radiation labeling substance in a medium of organic or water soluble solvent by arranging a liquid scintillator core, having a fluores cent substance for converting radiation energy into light, on the inside of a wall and a sample on the outside of the wall. CONSTITUTION: A scintillator capsule 10 for detecting a radioactive substance 13 in a sample contains a liquid scintillator core 12 having a fluorescent substance or a group thereof for converting radiation energy into light. The liquid scintillator core 12 is encapsulated within a wall or a cell 14 and has one or more phosphor and one or more basic component of aromatic solvent or a plurality of components. Preferably, a phosphor or a group thereof is dissolved into an aromatic solvent or a plurality of solvents. The aromatic solvent includes toluene, xylene, pseudocumene, etc. Preferably, primary phosphor includes 2,5-diphenyloxazole and secondary phosphor includes bisbenzene, 9,10- diphenylanthracene, etc.</p> |
