<p>PURPOSE: To perform a high-function power supply processing as to the power source control unit which has power supply outlets corresponding to I/O devices and supplies electric power to the I/O device through the power supply outlet when a power supply instruction is made by a host device. CONSTITUTION: This power source control unit is equipped with a detecting means 10 which interprets data information from installation lines provided extending to the I/O devices 2 to detect whether or not the I/O devices 2 are connected by the power supply outlets and the kinds of the devices when they are connected and a control means 11 which controls power supply to the I/O devices by supplying the electric power to the power supply outlets except the power supply outlets judged by the detecting means 10 not to connect with the I/O devices 2.</p> |
