<p>PURPOSE: To properly install a seal material without relatively moving the receiving tube and inserting tube of an intermediate sleeve tube for the jacking method in the shaft center direction when they are internally connected. CONSTITUTION: The first split ring 34, a seal material 35, and the second split ring 36 installed between the outer periphery of the tip of an inserting tube 8 and the inner periphery of a receiving tube 7 are pressed to a backup ring 33 by a push ring 40 connected to the tip face 31 of the inserting tube 8. An inner periphery taper face 41 is formed at the end section of the first split ring 34 kept in contact with one end of the seal material 35, an outer periphery taper face 42 is formed at the end section of the second split ring 36 kept in contact with the other end of the seal material 35, and the required face pressure is generated between the inner periphery and outer periphery of the seal material 35.</p> |
