<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the abnormal wear of a delivery roller over a long period, so that a paper sheet can be smoothly and surely conveyed. CONSTITUTION: This device is constituted by forming a pressing spring 21 ob two spring elements (22, 23), also to provide a disengaging means of releasing an engaging condition of the spring element 23 with a pressing member 24 in the case of decreasing a number of paper sheets from a maximum number of piled sheets (Nmax) by a preset number of sheets (ΔNs), so as to weaken pressing force of the paper sheet in the case that a number of piled paper sheets is in the intermediate between the maximum and the minimum.</p> |
