MOVEMENT QUANTITY CORRECTING METHOD FOR TRAVEL INFORMATION RECORDING STYLUS FOR TACHOGRAPH, AND TACHOGRAPH

PURPOSE: To record information in form corresponding to recording paper by one tachograph by correcting the movement quantity of the travel information recording stylus in a radial direction of a travel speed information recording area corresponding to the travel state of a vehicle according to the graduations of a scale recorded on selected recording paper. CONSTITUTION: One of different kind of sheets 21A and 21B of circular recording having annular travel speed information recording areas 21e where graduations 21f and 21h of unit travel speeds are entered at mutually different intervals is selected. While the selected recording paper 21A or 21B is rotated with time, the recording stylus 18C is brought into contact with the travel speed information recording area 21e. Then the movement quantity of the recording stylus 18C in the radial direction of the travel speed information recording area 2le is corrected according to the intervals of the graduations 21f or 21h of the selected recording paper 21A or 21B. Consequently, information can be recorded by one tachograph in the form corresponding to the recording paper 21A or 21B.
