FILM FOR BASE MATERIAL FOR PHOTOGRAPHY AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE: To provide a film for base material for photography which is constituted of polyethylene-2 and 6-naphthalate and rarely generates fogging when used as a photographic film and its manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION: The film for base material for photography which is constituted of polyehtylene-2 and 6-naphthalate incorporating acetaldehyde of <=7ppm and is extrusion-molded, polyethylene-2 and 6-naphthalate are charged into a vent- type extruder having a vent port 5 provided with a vacuum deaerator 7 and fused polyethylene-2 and 6-naphthalate are extruded after a gas contg. acetaldehyde generated from fused polyethylene-2 and 6-naphthalate is deaerated out of the vent port 5.
