The fridge/freezer has at least 2 compartments for food storage at different temps. cooled via respective evaporators (21,22,23) connected in circuit with a refrigeration compressor(24) and a condenser(25), each supplied with the refrigerant when the associated compartment requires cooling. The quantity of refrigerant circulating in the cooling circuit is controlled by providing a refrigerant reservoir(28) on the pressure side of the compressor, coupled to the cooling circuit via a deflection organ(27).
