PURPOSE: To effectively obtain much travel information by securely detecting the deviation of the vehicle from the center of a travel lane. CONSTITUTION: This device have magnetic markers 1a-1f and 2a-2f which are provided at specific intervals L on both the right and left sides of travel lanes P1 and P2 along them, magnetic markers 1a-1f, and 2a-2f which are magnetized into specific magnetic poles showing travel information, magnetic sensors 3a and 3b which are provided on both the right and left sides of the vehicle, and a computer which obtains the travel information from magnetic flux detected by the magnetic sensors 3a and 3b.
